If you add a email contact to a workflow a email will be sent to that contact so they know when a step within the workflow has been completed.
- Create a new or edit a existing workflow
- Add a new step or edit an existing step
- In the notification email(s) option type an email address
- Select 'Save' for the step and then select 'Save' for the workflow
- The notification email is commonly used by managers so they are aware when and if a workflow has been completed.
